Sailing Smart Program Guide

The Sailing Smart Program Guide accompanies the Sailing Counselor Program, providing step-by-step tutorials on how to deliver introductory sail training at a Sailing Center, Camp, or Yacht Club.  The Sailing Counselor program prepares participants to supervise small boat recreational sailing activities typically conducted on sheltered and protected waters.

With an emphasis on safety and hands-on practice, the Sailing Smart Program Guide helps beginner instructors understand how and when to introduce proper terminology and boating techniques.  Sailing Counselor training will also provide a model for how a counselor might structure actual sailing activities.
