Standard Sail Number

A Standard Sail Number is the next available 5-digit sail number, and has a cost of $150. Anything other than the next available number is considered a VIP number and an opportunity for you to help fund one of US Sailing’s programs.

Per the Racing Rules of Sailing, US Sailing issues sail numbers that meet national and international standards. Nationally assigned sail numbers are required for boats subject to Appendix G of the Racing Rules of Sailing and are a valuable identifying feature for any yacht.
